1 pkt dry active years
1 =tsp sugar
1.5 c warm water
2 tsp salt
4.5 c flour
In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
Stir in one cup of flour and salt.
Add next 3 c of flour one cup at a time mixing well until it is no longer sticky
knead dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, 8-10 min working in remaining 1/2 c flour.
Shape into a ball and put into oiled bowl. cover with a cloth or plastic wrap.
Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, should double in size. Punch it down to get out air bubbles. dviide into 2, or into as many pizzas as you want to make. Pull and spread out dough with your hands onto lightly oiled pans.
Preheat oven to 400F. Spread sauce on pizza. Arrange toppings. Bake in oven about 15 min or until golden brown edges are evident. Serve and eat hot.
