Basically, you just mix all the ingredients below together...
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup thick 'n chunky salsa (medium gives more flavor)
1 red (or green) pepper - small, chopped
1 cup black olives (I buy the pre-sliced ones!) I also use a bit less for my picky hubby!
2 green onions (sliced or chopped)
Cilantro (recipe calls for 1/2 of a bunch - chopped fine - cut stems halfway up, HOWEVER, I probably use half that amount - just add a bit at a time until you like the flavor)
*TIPS – Mix the cream cheese and salsa first.
Serve with tortilla chips…ENJOY!
P.S. The last time I made it, I used one of my electric mixer beaters (by hand though!!!) when mixing the cream cheese and salsa and I swear there were no lumps!!
