HASHBROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
Jimmy Dean or Bob Evans Sausage (1 lb)
1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese
½ to ¾ large bag of frozen shredded hashbrowns
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of French onion chip dip
1 can of cream of chicken soup
Pepper to season
Chopped green pepper and onion (optional)
Saute sausage and drain the grease, then set aside. Combine all other ingredients (except the sausage) and ¼ of the cheese in a large bowl.
Grease a 13x9 pan. Layer ½ of the mixture, then the sausage, then the rest of the mixture. Spread remaining cheese on top. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes (covered with foil), then uncover and bake another 10 minutes.
